Starting with May 25th 2018, the European Regulation no. 679 from 2016 on the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (“GDPR”) has become applicable.

We are pleased to inform you that we apply the new requirements, while respecting the provisions of the EU Regulation regarding the protection and confidentiality of personal data.

Ralcom Exhibitions srl collects and processes personal data for the sole purpose of achieving the committed services according to its object of activity.

In the context of attending a medical event, the certificate of attendance with CME points will be validated by the national / international institutions authorized for accreditation, only on the basis of the participants list submitted by the PCO company.

According to Decision No. 12 of the Romanian College of Physicians (CMR) of December 2018, Article 11, paragraph (c), the organizer of a conference, congress, or any other type of scientific event is required, after the completion of the CME program, to submit to the Romanian College of Physicians and the respective territorial colleges an electronic list of participants. This list must include the following information: first and last name, specialty, professional/academic rank, and CUIM (Unique Physician Identification Code).

According to the accreditation regulations for Continuing Medical Education issued by O.A.M.G.M.A.M.R., the organizer of the scientific event-namely the PCO company-is required to submit to the relevant county branch of O.A.M.G.M.A.M.R. the supporting documents confirming the attendance of specialists at the event. These documents include: the list of participants (first and last name, CNP, institution, and city), the event activity report, the platform login report, and other relevant documentation.

Furthermore, in order to send you information related to the event (access to the venue / access to the virtual platform, useful information on navigating the virtual platform, information about the program and speakers, deadlines for event registration or submission of scientific contributions, accommodation offer, etc.) and your participation to the event, data such as your e-mail address and telephone number will be required.

Refusing to provide us with personal data or to allow us to process the personal data will prevent us from properly fulfilling our obligations, which will make it impossible for us to provide you with the requested services.

You may return to your personal data processing agreement at any time and you may also request any further information related to your data by submitting a written notice to the email address: protectiadatelor@ralcom.ro.
